Boxed Gestures
Boxed gestures arose as a direct result of paying nearly £10 for a birthday card and then realising that it would be binned within forty eight hours. I wanted to give an alternative to a card, something small but something that would be appreciated. As my friend was a chocoholic it made sense to use a chocolate and when I made the first one up and gave it to her she was absolutely delighted with it.
From there I wondered if anyone else would like these, so I made up 12 boxes two weeks before Valentines Day and put them on the internet. In the following two weeks I had nearly 300 orders and Boxed Gestures was born.
Since then I have been searching for inspiration as to contents and embellishments and the range of boxes available has grown. There has been considerable interest in all of the boxes shown here today and the range will obviously grow.
